Ah, blessed silence! Kids are in bed, and Craig is at a church meeting. Not often it's so quiet in here that I get to enjoy the sound of the crickets!

Even though it was a busy day, I feel like I actually got a lot accomplished. Reorganizing my "working" area now that I am so much busier with my business, tested some new dye for the silks, and got Connor to his gymnastics. I even managed to get in a good workout and make a great Mexican dinner (Olimpia would be proud of me! LOL!)

I've been watching the StarWars series with the kids. Connor loves it, and believe it or not, Katie is loving it too! Haha! She knows the characters, loves Yoda and imitates Darth Vader! LOL! Too funny.

Groan, here we go again. Katie and I have both been sick for days. We had a great time in SPI, but both came home with the stomach flu and now colds. She's crabby and miserable and demanding and I'm crabby and miserable and short tempered. Too bad for me that she's missed the last couple of days of school. With the summer coming up I'm not going to have much time to myself!

South Padre Island was great. Got some nice pics. I'll have to post them. We really have to go back there when the weather is better!

yes, it is late, very, very late. I'm going to regret it tomorrow when I get Connor up for school. Honestly though, it seems that it's the only time I get any time for myself when the house is nice and quiet. Life is just too darn hectic and crazy. I know I've been frazzled, but that's the bane of being a mom isn't it?

 Time for bed.

Yea! Kohls had a GIGANTIC Sale today! I got a hundred dollar's worth of new clothes! Nine new blouses and a pair of jean capris, extra low rise (gee it's nice to have abs again!) Man, I needed it too. I had no summer shirts to wear!

Tomorrow I'm going to Fiesta! Yea! Patti is going to "show me the deals".

I sent out my first newsletter for a long time. Introducing my new jewelry line. I'm so excited about it. Hope everyone likes it! What a great deal of work putting this all together has been and I'm not done yet!  It's fun though and it's nice to be creative with something new.
